2023 Youth Design Forum: Journey to Explore and Restore

This year's Design Forum will be a unique career and community development event. Building off of last year's Design Forum, we will focus on Portland's historic Albina community and the restoration of the lower Albina neighborhood.

This event is an intergenerational space designed for Black and Brown identified youth, 7th - 12th grade. Registered youth will receive lunch and $100 incentive upon completion. Spaces are limited.

Tour with Word is Bond to learn about the community and history of Albina.

Participate in an Architecture and Design Career Panel.

Collaborate in our Radical Collaboration Design Workshop led by Design Activist, Urban Planner, and Architect Paul Bauknight.

Explore Futures in Design Passport and Career Panel. 

Learn about internships, college and community programs.

When: Saturday April 22nd, 2023, 10am - 5pm (doors open at 9:30am)

Who: Black and Brown youth (7th - 12th Grade)
